Sharad Mandal graduated in 1967 with a B.E. Mechanical Engineering from Punjab Engineering College, India. He worked with M/S Atlas Cycle Industries, India as a Mechanical Engineer from 1967 to 1980.

He then moved on to M/S Hero Cycle Industries, India as Production Engineer from 1980 to 1991.

He joined G.R.P Industries Ltd. as Marketing Manager in 1991 and at present is head of the Marketing Department for local sales and exports.
